We will explore the basic principles and possibilities of classic animation technique that was used to produce such masterpieces as Buurman en Buurman or Shaun the Sheep. We will be working mainly in 2-dimensional world, so we will draw all our characters and the world they live in on paper and then we will make them alive.
My animation workshops are for children as well as adults. After an introduction, 8+ years old are perfectly ready to animate and come up with their own original ideas. I can also do a workshop for adults who want to try a new, creative way of team-building.
We can plan the duration of the workshop according to your desires and possibilities.
We have a couple of options how to make it more exciting and challenging. Besides making simple silent animation, we can create more sophisticated short animated film with sound that we record on our own. On top of all this, the most advanced setup includes introduction into audio/video editing software which allows us to combine all the visual elements with sound and music.
The cost depends on the complexity of the workshop setup and number of participants. The price starts at 120 eur for 2 hour workshop which results in a short silent animation. All the necessary tools and accessories are included in the price.
My main working language is English but I can mix it with A1/A2 Dutch.
